Cesare hit 20k on Dreamwidth, or a little over 30k overall. I've never had a character break the latter and previously would always burn out on them at the former, so this is pretty exciting for me! ♥ In honor of that, a meme!
ASK A QUESTION, it can be anything CFUD related. OOC, IC, relationship/first impressions, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. My character's opinion of your character (relationships and whatnot) or maybe what you have been wondering about this behavior or that, or general thoughts on my characters or canons, Hot or Not, You Should Jump Me, App My Canon, whatever you want to ask for. WHEN I REPLY, I will also ask you a question in turn! If we can think of questions anyway who knows.

Also if I were to read your canon and app, who would it be?

And while that process was already underway, Alvis has also helped with it. She forces him to examine things that other people wouldn't because he feels more responsibility towards her than anyone else at Camp except maybe his brother and that's in a very different way. Alvis is the only "useful" person that Cesare has never tried to take advantage of for anything more nefarious than finding a carpenter and that's really a huge sign of affection for him. He's actually been called out on liking her and doing things for her and while usually this would make him pull back and reexamine things to find an angle he can get something out of, he just kind of shrugs it off. Seriously, people back home would be surprised and mildly confused. Usually he would have suggested that the person he like learn Spanish by now in order to bind them closer together but he's refraining himself in this case because he feels a little guilty and doesn't really want Alvis to be a part of his world in the same way he's okay with others being--it's violent and dangerous and sexual and he does things that he doesn't particularly want Alvis to know about. He just wants Alvis to be happy in her own world, even if that means that they can't have contact or he can't take advantage of her, which is very unusual for him.
Toothless: Oh god, Toothless is just so fun. Cesare really enjoyed himself playing with him and the watergun and he's adoring meeting him already as a child. Cesare has a weakness for animals with personality (his horse can be a bitch and a half and is basically the night fury of horse breeds in canon) and is really fascinated with all the flying that is possible in Camp. He knows it is possible to ride Toothless, he really wants to ride Toothless. He's okay with settling for feeding him and playing with him. For now.
Dale: Cesare likes Dale. He's interesting. He's kind of funny. He would actually like to hear about Tibet! He appreciates the suit. People don't dress well nowadays. He's also interested in hearing about places that make Camp seem par for the course.

Also I don't know how to answer this since you play such different characters. I feel obliged to pimp Miguel but I'm going to do something less serious and more "would really confuse Cesare as to why he of all people ended up in Camp."
This catty bitch is His Eminence Giovanni de Medici, Cesare's classmate and mostly friend.
He once made the new boy in town ride an untrained horse because he called him by the wrong title! He is regularly bullied and pushed around by Cesare! He's actually really really really good with the finer things in life like the newest food trends and critiquing art! Also his father is dying and he feels all alone and is scared about having to live up to expectations and there are a bunch of spoilers but basically Giovanni's life is the story of people abandoning and betraying him and he comes out of it a better person.

Dale thinks Cesare is young and arrogant but also that he seems more than capable. And since Cesare is obviously so well read and learned (also from a whole different time period) that hits Dale right in the knowledge bone. He's very curious about him! I think they would have some very good intellectual and spiritual conversations that would go right over my head. And they would happen over coffee and pie. Dale very much wants to be a simple man of the people but unfortunately he was raised with money and went to posh universities and will never be able to get away from his class culture. So let's talk sometime!
While Dale isn't malicious or using ulterior motives, he does also have the false exterior which is a little more cheerful than it should be and probably recognizes Cesare's society front as well. He doesn't really have a problem with it since, as far as he knows, Cesare isn't up to much trouble.
Also Dale appreciates your suit appreciation. It's good to look sharp -- lends itself to authority and good upkeep. ...I think he even the flannel shirt and fishing vest he once wore in canon.

He gets all kinds of weirded out when strange people climb into his saddle and start operating stuff so sorry, wee!Cesare. But if Hiccup were ever around to ride double then he would be happy to show off and then receive copious amounts of praise/food rewards.
Also the idea of Cesare mounted on a fire breathing dragon sort of scares me.

You know I love storytime with Cesare but honestly their playfulness is what really gets me. Not just the slapstick stuff that I always default to but I think it shows a really great relationship between the two of them. They play and talk and Alvis trusts him.
...Okay let's see if after I hit "post" I will deem this enough talk. Bets are on no.

Also I still love the headcanon that they meet up in the kitchen at odd hours and bitch. She's allowed to try to charge him for it.

Juan is... Juan. Cesare of course loves his brother but god he can't stand him sometimes. He thinks he is petty and selfish and careless and that Harley is the best thing that could have happened to him so just marry her already for the love of god. He doesn't want anything to happen to him. He's had to give up on some things just because. He would shank a guy if he needed to to protect Juan. He wants Juan to go off and have a nice normal life even though he of course also would like him to come help him in Italy and be where he can keep an eye on him. If you love it, set it free, etc etc. He has come to accept that they will never have the perfect sibling relationship but he hopes it is an okay one. He also hopes Juan liked the party. He really wanted to do that for him (and really honestly not in a "I want something out of you later" way, just because he felt bad for missing the earlier opportunity and he knows Juan likes parties and he and Harley had been talking about how Juan doesn't know many people) and he thinks it turned out well.

liketolerate Hamel rightAlso, what do like best about playing Cesare?

I really like how Cesare can flip back and forth so quickly from messing around and making fun of people to being serious to back again. I also like how canon doesn't take him too seriously even though he's actually pretty cool, so I have free reign to get him beaten up or made to look like an idiot in Camp. :3
Reverse me for both of those!

Hamel doesn't like Cesare teasing him, but it balances out with him not pushing too much. What Cesare sees as going away before things get insufferable, Hamel sees as chickening out which means he wins! In some imaginary competition! He also likes Cesare asking questions because it's another chance to talk about how awesome he is. The dumb boy activities are fun (he memorized all those Italian swear words) and Hamel doesn't mind hanging out with him, even if he is kind of annoying. Their mutual assholeness sort of balances out.
I like how you can do pretty much anything with Hamel. Canon swings between utter ridiculousness and sad, terrible horror so he can fit anywhere between the extremes. He has a very strong personality so it's easy to jump in and react to things. He fits right into my dumb sense of humor and he's just pure fun.

but no in all seriousness, relationships or impressions of any of mine he's met :O

Kamio Akira was pretty chill to talk to. He'd seek him out again for non-super-powered-up sports times now that he knows he's into that sort of thing. Cesare is athletic and likes learning new things so that could be fun! He has made a note to do that in the future.
Cesare doesn't really like He Ting Yu but after talking to him more it's in a "this guy is pathetic" way. He has to admit of course that he is very talented! He can appreciate that--he sees nothing wrong with being a little cocky about it, even. The alcoholism turns him off because it's such an obvious weakness.

Kamio thinks Cesare's a little weird, but a nice enough guy--I mean, he did offer such awesome things as light and a guard hyena. He's sorta figured that Cesare isn't one of those super hero people he was talking about, and he likes that there are more, well, "normal" people around. No demigods, no guys that can shoot lasers out of their eyes, etc. He'd happily teach him how to play tennis and stuff, because there's only so much you can do on your own against a wall.
Aaand Ting Yu doesn't care much for Cesare either (which totally means we should do more with them). If he saw how he was with Natsumi, he'd think he was just an idiot lovesick puppy. Ting Yu is just too full of himself and thinks of most people as peons until proven otherwise, so he deserves to have people insult him and take jabs at him (please) and generally just give him what-for. He did, however, appreciate the open bar.

Tiny!Cesare thinks Felix is pretty cool since he's an officer. I'm playing a little fast and loose with his timeline because I have no idea when canon thinks Pedro Luis was made a knight but WHATEVER. The point is that Cesare's awesome older brother is a knight and therefore he's predisposed to think that military leadership is cool. That was a major mark in his favor. The space thing is pretty neat, too.
Also just so you know, years of Spanish lessons mean that almost every single time I mistype it as "feliz."
