Jiu Wu actually really likes Cesare. He's knowledgeable and fun to talk to, and he's also super happy that Natsumi has such a good friend. On the other hand, he also completely doesn't realize that Cesare has a thing for her, and if he did, he'd step back and give the guy a fair shot. He doesn't intend to try to make Cesare feel inferior or whatever, it just sort of . . . happens. He's kind of oblivious to it which I think is where a lot of the tension comes from. If anything, he likes to try to point out the things that Cesare is better than him at (which is actually a lot!), and would like to learn from him. He super doesn't like boasting about or flaunting the fact he's a pretty powerful dude, but he also won't sell himself short. Cesare has a much larger ego than he does, haha. THAT SAID, he does think of Cesare as a friend or comrade--they're not necessarily close, but he would happily help him out in any way he could if Cesare needed it. He trusts Cesare, which is more than he could say for many of the people he knows.
Kamio thinks Cesare's a little weird, but a nice enough guy--I mean, he did offer such awesome things as light and a guard hyena. He's sorta figured that Cesare isn't one of those super hero people he was talking about, and he likes that there are more, well, "normal" people around. No demigods, no guys that can shoot lasers out of their eyes, etc. He'd happily teach him how to play tennis and stuff, because there's only so much you can do on your own against a wall.
Aaand Ting Yu doesn't care much for Cesare either (which totally means we should do more with them). If he saw how he was with Natsumi, he'd think he was just an idiot lovesick puppy. Ting Yu is just too full of himself and thinks of most people as peons until proven otherwise, so he deserves to have people insult him and take jabs at him (please) and generally just give him what-for. He did, however, appreciate the open bar.
