20k

Cesare hit 20k on Dreamwidth, or a little over 30k overall. I've never had a character break the latter and previously would always burn out on them at the former, so this is pretty exciting for me! ♥ In honor of that, a meme!

ASK A QUESTION, it can be anything CFUD related. OOC, IC, relationship/first impressions, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. My character's opinion of your character (relationships and whatnot) or maybe what you have been wondering about this behavior or that, or general thoughts on my characters or canons, Hot or Not, You Should Jump Me, App My Canon, whatever you want to ask for. WHEN I REPLY, I will also ask you a question in turn! If we can think of questions anyway who knows.

...you know, that's hard to say, because there's a LOT for him to dislike about it, and the most important piece of it (i.e. Ryner) is in camp with him. I guess if anything he misses his other friends from back home, even if it's not NEARLY as much as he'd miss Ryner. But he does care about those people too and worries about them and so on and so forth. Beyond that though he doesn't really get homesick for anything in particular, just missing the general familiarity and sense of knowing what his place is and all.

What does Cesare think of his younger self's antics?

Sion finds him entertaining! He finds Cesare interesting to talk to normally, and since Sion's sense of humor is, in fact, at times on par with a 7-year-old's, having silly arguments about building pet houses for giraffes suits him just fine. |D As long as he's in the mood for it tiny!Cesare is fun for him to talk to, in other words, and Sion enjoys the verbal sparring. |Db

Since Sion spends a LOT of his time around Ryner in camp, does Cesare have any thoughts on the two of them?

...I would love to see Ryner's reaction if Cesare ever commented on the master/servant idea to him. :|a

Anyway though, that depends entirely on Ryner! Because right now Sion isn't planning on going anywhere/doing anything significant without his bff. He WOULD love to see other worlds and things and so on but he won't do it without Ryner, so. You may possibly be seeing a pattern starting to emerge here perhaps. >_>

Reverse?

The funny part about it all is that Sion himself doesn't really think of it as a master/servant kind of thing at all.... XD

Though oh boy, there's actually some pretty noteworthy things in that regard. The first and foremost is that Ryner has managed through persistence and with a little occasionally help from camp push past a LOT of Sion's barriers and gotten Sion to open up to him a little. Which doesn't sound like much but is actually a big deal, especially since the circumstances and the way Ryner did it has had a huge effect on Sion in general. A lot of it isn't obvious because Sion is Sion and hides things well, but it starts becoming clear if you observe his interactions with Ryner, etc.

One of the first big things is that right now he's come to basically utterly depend on Ryner. See, one of Sion's big things is that he dealt with things by emotionally distancing himself, keeping that wall up and just tucking his feelings away somewhere deep where he could deal with or ignore them as needed. Thanks to Ryner, he no longer HAS that, which means he currently is without his primary coping mechanism for, well, everything. Which means Ryner's become a replacement for that: Sion's now relying on Ryner to be his anchor and such to maintain his own emotional stability. If Ryner were to vanish right now Sion would quite possibly have an emotional breakdown because he wouldn't be able to cope. So that's one big thing!

Another is that Sion's gradually become more open about stuff. Again, it's hard to notice if you aren't Ryner, but to Ryner at least he's more willing to explain things when asked, even if he sucks at volunteering them still. This has kind of started spilling out into relations in general, but that still depends on how much Sion trusts a person (he trusts Ryner a LOT) and also requires a fair amount of interaction to really be a thing. And Sion just spends most of his time with Ryner, so.

That and Sion's kind of generally gotten both a bit more relaxed and a bit more removed from things in camp--some of the worst stuff camp could possibly do to him has already happened and he's still okay, but at the same time he really... doesn't have much reason to care about camp in general. For all Sion is very friendly and kind to people, he takes a while to develop close relationships, and there really hasn't been anyone that's engaged him enough to do that in quite some time. So between that and the above stuff, Ryner's really the only person Sion strongly cares about, and thus as long as he has Ryner he doesn't really care much about the rest of camp. It's kind of childish of him really but that's also kind of where he is emotionally so it's not really surprising.

...also, he has a dog in camp that he's had for over a year now and aside from being a very BIG dog and so on it's kind of maybe helped him start to accept that yes, yes there is something that DOES care about him unconditionally and all that.

If Sion were to actually offer/invite him, would Cesare be interested in seeing Sion's world?
