Cesare hit 20k on Dreamwidth, or a little over 30k overall. I've never had a character break the latter and previously would always burn out on them at the former, so this is pretty exciting for me! ♥ In honor of that, a meme!
ASK A QUESTION, it can be anything CFUD related. OOC, IC, relationship/first impressions, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. My character's opinion of your character (relationships and whatnot) or maybe what you have been wondering about this behavior or that, or general thoughts on my characters or canons, Hot or Not, You Should Jump Me, App My Canon, whatever you want to ask for. WHEN I REPLY, I will also ask you a question in turn! If we can think of questions anyway who knows.

Kamio Akira was pretty chill to talk to. He'd seek him out again for non-super-powered-up sports times now that he knows he's into that sort of thing. Cesare is athletic and likes learning new things so that could be fun! He has made a note to do that in the future.
Cesare doesn't really like He Ting Yu but after talking to him more it's in a "this guy is pathetic" way. He has to admit of course that he is very talented! He can appreciate that--he sees nothing wrong with being a little cocky about it, even. The alcoholism turns him off because it's such an obvious weakness.
Reverse me?

Kamio thinks Cesare's a little weird, but a nice enough guy--I mean, he did offer such awesome things as light and a guard hyena. He's sorta figured that Cesare isn't one of those super hero people he was talking about, and he likes that there are more, well, "normal" people around. No demigods, no guys that can shoot lasers out of their eyes, etc. He'd happily teach him how to play tennis and stuff, because there's only so much you can do on your own against a wall.
Aaand Ting Yu doesn't care much for Cesare either (which totally means we should do more with them). If he saw how he was with Natsumi, he'd think he was just an idiot lovesick puppy. Ting Yu is just too full of himself and thinks of most people as peons until proven otherwise, so he deserves to have people insult him and take jabs at him (please) and generally just give him what-for. He did, however, appreciate the open bar.
NEXT QUESTION:
Do we need to have another duel for the lady's honor
no subject
Oh because I always like to ask this to people with a larger lineup, do you characters know (of) one another and what do they think of one another?
no subject
He totally didn't mean for it to come out that way. He was mostly joking about the challenge to begin with (he's been told it's hard to tell if he's serious or not sometimes), and certainly didn't mean to offend him. HE JUST LIKES TO PLAY, OKAY. It's why he offered the proper duel--he figures Cesare was just playing when he shot him to begin with, so it isn't anything that was FOR HONOR!!! and thus he didn't think he deserved a free shot pfft.
And yep, they mostly all know or know of one another for some reason or another (Koyomi and Ryuusei, and Jiu Wu and Ma Chao are kind of the cheater version since they're part of their respective extended canons--Koyomi and Ryuusei have been in movies together, Ma Chao is a friend of Jiu Wu's right hand man in a different dimension, etc).
Jiu Wu: Knows Kamio in more of an acquaintance way because he was friends with Kamio's former cabinmate (Yui ;A;) so hey saw him around sometimes and they chatted a bit. He has no strong feelings either way. He knows Ryuusei because he lived with Hina with whom he was friends, and also because he's dating his cute goth friend Tomoko. They don't get along the greatest (mostly because Ryuusei doesn't like him much), but he likes Ryuusei well enough and doesn't think he's a bad person or anything, just socially awkward (and pretty good at what he does). Knows (of) Koyomi because she lives with Tomoko. Thinks she's cute, but that's about it. He didn't actually meet Ma Chao until camp, but he knew of him. He has mixed feelings about Chao--He likes him as a person and thinks he's a good guy, but he thinks he's dumb (because Silver Dimension educational standards are shit), and that aside, Chao is (unwittingly) part of the reason Xiu betrayed him in canon, so part of him is jealous of/angry at Chao for that. Ting Yu is his (several-years-older) facetwin and they spent about 2 months lost in the woods together. He thinks Ting Yu is a jerk, but he does think Ting Yu has some redeemable qualities. He feels some obligation towards the guy owing to facetwin status (he states Ting Yu is his alternate from another dimension, but given X-Fam's fourthwallness and the fact he knows he's fictional, it goes further than that). He stays out of Ting Yu's way, mostly, but he will not hesitate to lay the smack down if the guy tries to hurt someone he loves. He's protective of him to a certain extent so he won't let him get into too much danger, but most of what the guy gets he probably has coming to him fff.
Kamio likes Jiu Wu in as much as they've talked, but they're not really friends. The others he's probably only seen in passing.
Ryuusei knows Koyomi because she lives with Tomoko and because they spent a couple of months stuck in a cave together (setting aside canon things that he remembers and she doesn't). He's protective of her, if only out of some sense of obligation he has towards Haruto--basically in that he knows if Tomoko was in danger, Haruto would help her, too. He knows Jiu Wu because he used to visit the cabin a lot when Hina lived there. He's not overly fond of him, but he doesn't flat out dislike him. He's never met Chao, Ting Yu, or Kamio, but has probably seen them in passing or heard about them from other people.
Ma Chao also has mixed feelings about Jiu Wu--on one hand, he's pretty nice and not quite as scary as he was lead to believe, but on the other he's the person his Big Brother answers to and respects him as That Meng Zhu/Leader. He's still a little grumpy about Jiu Wu making Xiu leave him and their other sworn brothers. As far as Ting Yu is concerned, he thinks he's a big grumpy jerk even if he looks like Big Brother's Meng Zhu. He's never met Kamio, Koyomi or Ryuusei.
Koyomi likes Ryuusei because he's helped her out before (and she met future-him in her world, but he doesn't remember it because I'm not updating him to that...probably ever) and because he's Tomoko's boyfriend. She thinks his personality is similar to hers, so they get along well enough. She knows Jiu Wu because he comes to visit Tomoko sometimes. She's never met Ting Yu, Kamio, or Chao.
Ting Yu . . . either hasn't met or doesn't like anyone. He thinks Jiu Wu is an obnoxious chubby baby and possibly has minor jealousy issues where Natsumi's concerned. He's also 99.9% certain the guy's only close with Natsumi because he can get something out of it (because who wouldn't?) and is forever referring to him as her dumb boyfriend. He'll never admit Jiu Wu actually helped him when they were lost in the woods. He hates the fact they look alike, and is constantly trying to make himself seem like the better one, whoops. As for Chao, he just thinks he's an oversized moron.
IF THERE WAS ONE THING WE COULD THREAD OUT, what would you want to do? No matter how silly/serious/etc.
no subject
Oh man hm. Probably some adventure stuff with Jiu Wu! I love adventures. Exploring in the forest or the waste lands or something, or whenever Camp next does some labyrinth/haunted house/etc themed thing. Cesare doesn't have great powers for that kind of thing, but he does know how to use various weapons and learned the "bring fire" lesson early on in his Camp history.
Anything you want to thread out?

I think something with Koyomi and Cesare in a little sister/big brother kind of dynamic would be super cute :O She is but an innocent loli who is crap at fighting and can't even properly shank people with her made-by-a-god dagger.

Cesare can collect more tiny ladies.

I'm canonblind, so give me a sense of what I can expect in terms of people/places! \o\

The city's mostly-modern Taipei! It has all the normal stuff one might assume it has. While there are muggles/Ma Gua and power-users/Yi Neng Xing Zhe, Cesare won't be able to tell the difference unless he's with them privately (it's against the law for power-users to use their power in public unless emergency--basically same type of deal as in Harry Potter).
Location-wise, Cesare's most likely to see the Xia family home (two story semi-traditional Chinese house) and The Ass Pub (an actually fairly cozy yet classy bar owned by Xia Tian & co's dad). He might also get to go to what is basically Jiu Wu's "throne" room where he spends most of his time dealing with shit fff. It's cold and mostly bare and there isn't a whole lot of comfy furniture ff.
A lot of character info can be found on the Zhong Ji wikia but I'll sort of give an overview/personalities since there's a good chance Cesare would meet at least a handful of them.
THE XIA FAMILY:
Xia Xiong (a.k.a Xiong Ge) is basically Natsumi if she were were a 20-years-older trucker with three kids, personality-wise. She's sassy, she takes no shit, and she is seriously the best mama a person could ask for. She also happens to make Jiu Wu's favorite foods (which send everyone else running for the hills). She's a fairly powerful Yi Neng Xing Zhe and will not hesitate to use Freeze/Mute/etc spells on people when they're annoying her.
Xia Tian is the closest Jiu Wu has to a friend back home. He's pretty relaxed and kind of dumb, but he has a good heart. He's also the only person more powerful than Jiu Wu. I don't remember if Cesare ever met him when he was in camp fff.
Xia Yu is Xia Tian's older brother who is completely miserly and kind of a snobby butt. He's one of those guys who will be a jerk to his siblings, but will not hesitate to lay the smack down on anyone else who does it. He's one of the few who will actually say not-so-nice things about Jiu Wu, too :'D (see: icon) He grew up thinking he was a Ma Gua until Things Happened near the end of the series. Xia Yu speaks English fairly well, so he's Cesare's best bet if he gets too lost (protip: he'll probably be dumped off somewhere for a few hours while Boy and Girl go on a date).
Xia Mei is . . . Xia Mei. She has a good heart and she's very dedicated to the things she likes, but she's also flighty. She'll either think Cesare's the hottest shit on the planet and try to make kissyfaces at him, or think he's a complete jerk fff.
Xia Liu (a.k.a Ah Gong) is Xiong's father/the kids' grandpa. He's a kind of pervy sneaky old dude who pretends not to remember things a lot and is just generally all sorts of ridiculous (and great).
Ye Si Ren (a.k.a Dead Man Leader) is Xia Xiong's ex-husband/the kids' dad. He's the son of a ridic powerful demonized family, but gave up his Yi Neng when he married Xia Xiong so he has no power. He's really good at playing violin! He's also kind of a silly derp but takes his family very seriously. He'd probably actually really like Cesare.
Xiu is Jiu Wu's right-hand man, and the leader of the Iron Imperial Army's front line unit, Dong Cheng Wei. He's a nice enough guy and he'd probably try to make Cesare feel welcome.
Jiu Lai is Jiu Wu's little brother! He looks like an old man but his personality is very childish--he's a lot more socially aware than Jiu Wu is, but he spends most of his time having long talks with Xia Liu and Demon Hunter (who is another old man). He's kind of bratty and whines a bit when things don't go his way.
OTHER PEOPLE include Lan Ling Wang (whom I have dubbed fake!Cloud Strife...he literally wears AC Cloud's outfit and he's a total emo kid), Han-who-is-Xia-Tian's-girlfriend, Sun Shang Xiang who is Xiu's girlfriend and super cute and sassy (and opens an entire new can of dimensional worms), and aChord, who is the guy that bullied Jiu Wu as a kid >>
IF THERE ARE QUESTIONS please let me know I can get you video clips and stuff too |D

2) Cesare is 100% going to take the opportunity to get lost in a foreign city especially if Jiu Wu and Natsumi duck out. He will go off by himself but he'd prefer a guide who spoke the language, especially if said guide is fun (if he's too dull Cesare will "accidentally" get separated). Basically his best day in canon was sneaking out with a friend and going to a street fair where they ate food from stalls, saw part of a play (and heckled the actors), he won an archery game, found pretty girls, etc. He'll be looking to recreate it or something close to it. I guess what I'm saying is, who would Cesare get sent off with? Because he'll either try to drag them into adventures or ditch them in the first big crowd.
3) Cesare is really good at charming people and he has had a lot of practice being both a guest and a host. He's good at polite conversation and paying the right kinds of compliments. In general people think he's the hottest shit until they get to know him and realize he can also be a complete jerk. He'll also bring some kind of present for the family in general since he's asking Jiu Wu to bring things to Italy.

2) Xia Mei or Jiu Lai would be good for those shenanigans. Xia Mei's actually pretty good at planning those things. Jiu Lai is more likely to do the heckling thing hur hur. Jiu Wu would definitely make sure to leave him with some pocket money, though.
3) He'll fit right in |D Jiu Wu will probably try to teach him some survival phrases before they go, too.
Also tell me about Cesare's world! And people the lovebirds might meet etc etc.
no subject
And yes please teach him some basic phrases. He will probably need them. He'll do the same in return!
Cesare will probably get Jiu Wu and Natsumi to come with him to Bologna. His cousin Silencio just came back from trying and failing to secure a vote from there for Cesare's father and he thinks it is worth another try if he has the opportunity to make a bonus move thanks to Camp's vacations. In canon he deemed it a lost cause and not worth any more effort, but since now he has the chance to try again... (And also frankly he thinks he has everything else under control in canon, thanks self for being so on top of things!) He's not really expecting to win the vote, just to make the Bentivoglios doubt what side they should be coming down on to make things easier in the future.
Cesare actually wouldn't require Jiu Wu and/or Natsumi to do much. Just dress nice (he will supply the clothing) and make a brief appearance to hand over a present to Lord Giovanni Bentivoglio. The rest of the day or however long they'll be there they are free to do tourist things. He'll be busy smoozing for a while so they'll have some time on their own to do their own thing. Romantic walks through scenic Italian town, etc etc. They can take care of themselves, he's sure they won't be mugged. :|b He'll catch up with them later. If things go well they can all have a fancy dinner at the lord's estate and it's totally legit that they won't be able to communicate with anyone and blow his plan by mistake because they won't be expected to speak Italian anyway \o/
As for background information, Cesare is basically updated to early January 1492. His father is basically campaigning to be elected the next pope and has various family members and dependents helping. Cesare is pretty much in charge of securing votes from the area including and around Florence and his cousin was working Bologna but was unable to get the family in charge there to commit because of other political pressures on them. It was a disappointment, but not an entirely unexpected one. The family is still friendly to the Borgias, however, and Cesare wants to take another crack at it, or at least remind them why they need to maintain a healthy relationship. Because he wants to go to Bologna, they won't be seeing anyone Cesare already knows--all of his men are either in Pisa or Florence and he's never actually been to Bologna. He's totally okay with this, as it means he has a little more freedom to spend his time how he wants to with his guests.

He will probably have a blast in Italy, ngl. He'll just have to figure out how to explain where he's from and why he speaks the way he does (only somewhat resembling dialect of the time). Taiwan was still mostly inhabited by aboriginal tribes in the 1400's and had only just started having people come over from the mainland pffft. There wasn't a whole lot of trade with the island until the 1600's or so hur hur.
But yes let us have all the fun with these shenanigans |D
