Cesare passed 10k on Dreamwidth! Good an excuse as any for a meme.

ASK A QUESTION, it can be anything CFUD related. OOC, IC, relationship/first impressions, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. My character's opinion of your character (relationships and whatnot) or maybe what you have been wondering about this behavior or that, or general thoughts on my characters or canons, Hot or Not, You Should Jump Me, App My Canon, whatever you want to ask for. WHEN I REPLY, I will also ask you a question in turn! If we can think of questions anyway who knows.

Guy just died again or almost died again from Jack in the Box past (lethal) injuries. I am not sure how traumatic it was . . . he's in recovery or something. Or recovery was slowed down by October.

It's his one year anniversary at the end of this month . . . it's not something he expected to see, really. He's simultaneously weirded out by this and cautiously optimistic about leaving Camp and maybe getting a life. Still needs to fix the destination though.

I might post for Guy's anniversary.

Cesare's least favourite things in Camp?

He doesn't have as good a network here. To be fair, his regular one is REALLY GOOD. And the rules of what is and isn't ok still frustrates him sometimes. Right now he really wants to be able to write to his father even though he probably wouldn't ask him any of what is bothering him anyway because hahaha no. :| he just wants confirmation that he's on the right track and he doesn't really have anyone he trusts enough to work through it with him right now, for one reason or another. He'd ask Rue if he hadn't left...

He also doesn't like how uncanny valley the other Borgias are for him. >_<; and getting carded for drinks is dumb.

What do yours think about othercesare and juan?

Guy thinks that other!Cesare and Juan are kinda hot-headed and dumb. And it's tragic obviously, so he hopes that they don't do it again because it's useless in Camp. He can commiserate with other!Cesare about morally ambiguous younger brothers, but on the other hand, other!Cesare is not as flexible as first!Cesare. There are some stubborn parts of him that were definitely present in first!Cesare.

Cindy thinks that it's about time someone made a drama series about the Borgias. Your lives are wild enough for one. And other!Cesare and Juan are probably dumb(er).

What has Cesare done to keep other!Cesare and Juan occupied in Camp?

Mostly he's been trying to keep Juan occupied because when Juan got bored he would get high. This has maybe been remedied, but he was having him work on renovations to Canada and kind of just trying to push him towards making friends. Mostly the renovations, though, because that's a little more time consuming and also useful for him as well. He also did show him how to use the laptop--didn't point out the porn, but Juan found that on his own anyway. Did show him googlemaps and how to look at the feed from the security cameras in the consulate.

He explained computers and security cameras to other!Cesare as well, and got him started on the literature about their family. He figured that knowing himself that would be enough to keep him preoccupied, at least for now and at least a bit. Cesare hopes they will find girls they like in Camp soon. That will be a nice distraction. :|b;;;

Which of yours would you most like to live with?

Cindy. Guy is out because he's got no idea how to use a microwave. Tiffany would always be busy with other things and yet somehow you get the feeling you're being watched all the time.

Cindy will leave you alone for a long periods of time because she is pretending to be on vacation while on a job. She'll pay her half of the rent and she can actually cook and clean. Cindy is also great with pets. However, she's also the least likely person to share a flat amongst all my characters because of her real job.

If Cesare could bring stuff from Camp back to his world, what would he bring back and why?

Sorry, I accidentally deleted this earlier and couldn't bring myself to type it up again right away. So!

I'm restricting this to the three things Cesare most wants to bring back.

1) Quinine.
2) A modern atlas.
3) Pell's bracelet.
4) Natsumi's album.
5) Rue's pin.

1) Cesare's fall can be traced--at least, Machiavelli and Cesare himself both traced it to--malaria. It very suddenly killed his father and weakened him during that key liminal stage, so that he was not able to properly consolidate power and was pretty much at the mercy of other rival forces for an extended period of time. He really wants to prevent that. More than anything else, he's hit upon this as a practical step to be taken to avoid his written fate. Mosquito netting he can figure out back home. Draining the swamps around Rome isn't really practical yet. Quinine he wants to smuggle back with him.

Maybe some OFF too, or something. Let's expand this to a general "things that will kill mosquitos and their parasites".


2) Googlemaps is Cesare's favorite part of the internet. He can't bring that, but he thinks a book might be okay. He wants an atlas because it would be really useful in his military strategizing--a more accurate map is always a good thing--and because he could use it to achieve greater success in trade, international diplomacy... It's got other significance, too, in terms of general dominion/possession through knowledge, etc.

3) Pell's bracelet is magic. It can heal small injuries, shine a light, and holds a few memories. He doesn't know if it would be able to do any of that in Italy, but it's a nice reminder of Camp all the same--or, at least, it looks nice and there's always that...

4) Natsumi made Cesare a photo album for his birthday. She's teaching him how to take pictures! She made the album to look like period-appropriate books to try and trick Camp into letting him take it with him. It's about half-filled with pictures they've taken around Camp and he's supposed to finish filling it up before he leaves. It's another good reminder of Camp and the (dare I say it?) friends he's made here.

5) Cesare got a dragonfly pin from Rue for Christmas one year. It's his reminder of Rue and what he told him. Cesare really respected Rue and wants to remember the advice Rue gave him. If he won't be able to access it from the bracelet, maybe the pin will jog his memory...

Cindy goes to Guy's world, Guy goes to Tiffany's world, Tiffany goes to Cindy's world. How does that go?
