IC: Boar Hunting

*Camp's a farm, right? And you know what farms have? Pigs.

The ones in Camp are a little... different from the cute, not-by-the-hair-on-my-chinney-chin-chin ones some of you might be more familiar with, however...

One way or another, it's clearly the time for a boar hunt. Clearly. And somewhere away from the center of Camp are two people on horses looking to do just that.*

The corruption of the Church and its sycophants and hypocrites is a blemish on the holy name of Rome. I intend to work to cleanse it and restore it to its former position of glory.

...how do you intend to do that, specifically?

Through the use of politics, rather ironically. It would take rather too long to go into all the details of the different coalitions and families, but suffice it to say that I am studying in order to be elevated to a position of some power within the bureaucracy. With my father's skill and ambitions, I believe I will be able to aid in the cleansing of the church and the maneuvering of her policies in a direction more genuinely useful to her people.

That's a relief! And very admirable of you. You'll be surprised how many people I know with an extremist's approach to matters like these.

Such approaches are, in my experience, often too rash and with a lack of attention to the future to accomplish anything lasting.

That is true, although even were he my progeny, enough years have elapsed between our times that it would only serve to tell me one thing.
