Hur hur. Xia Mei's not his sister (she's Xia Tian's sister), but she's a member of a family in high standing with Jiu Wu and his ilk. Probably no one would actually care if he hit on her pffft.

He will probably have a blast in Italy, ngl. He'll just have to figure out how to explain where he's from and why he speaks the way he does (only somewhat resembling dialect of the time). Taiwan was still mostly inhabited by aboriginal tribes in the 1400's and had only just started having people come over from the mainland pffft. There wasn't a whole lot of trade with the island until the 1600's or so hur hur.
