maleborgia: (more interested in warlike undertakings)

You are a pain in his ass. Juan's annoying, too, but you really disturb him sometimes.

It's less about having an older twin, and more about seeing a possible version of the future and really not liking it. Actually, Cesare has yet to find any version of the future that he likes but he knows this one well enough and he is very angry about it. Part of the anger is at Dali (you know what, I'm just going to call you Dali for this because it's easier) for making what he sees as such stupid mistakes and for arriving in Camp right when he no longer had any real desire to see family here. Part of it is at himself for seeing himself in Dali. It's disconcerting.

At the same time he trusts Dali more than Juan because he understands him on a different level. It's not just being able to predict what will happen or to make guesses based off of previous behavior. He might not always know what he's going to do, but it sure makes more sense when it happens. He doesn't always like how much sense it makes.

If Dali really was just an older twin it would simplify things. As it is he is just different enough that he can argue that and wonder if they really are the same. He was already struggling with problems of predestination and fate and Dali is messing with that, tugging him first one way and then the other. He wants a straight answer. He's not going to get one.

On a different note, Dali being in Camp is making him wonder if that means he will be leaving soon. This isn't something he's brought up to anyone, though, because (among other things) he doesn't know how he feels about it and he doesn't like that. He should be relieved to be finally leaving. He's not.

So how about that younger twin thing?
